Our client comes under Maharashtra State. While running payroll, the ptax is not calculated for previous month arrears. For eg. :
If for the month of Dec, an employee was given zero salary and in the month of Jan it was decided that he will be paid in full for Dec along with Jan salary, then the Ptax to be deducted is Rs. 400 (200 for Dec & 200 for Jan). The other components arrears are properly displayed and calculated on payslip where as PTax deducted is only Rs. 200 for Jan.
