Hi,
I assume that rating with stars 
is the anonymous way to value content, if I am right then "rated" should not be displayed as the latest activity in the connection tab. If you can see that the last activity of a person is that he rated a content and this content has only been rated once, then you know how many star(s) were given.
If it's not designed to be anonymous, then forget it.
